1. Overview

The Scorecard is where you see how your data is scoring against your quality rules. It takes the results of your latest quality measurement and presents them as clear pass/fail scores, so you can tell at a glance where your data is healthy and where it needs work.

The same results are shown at three levels of detail, each on its own view: by individual rule, by critical data element, and by quality dimension. You choose the level that answers your question — a specific failing check, a particular data element, or the overall shape of your quality — and you can drill into any row to see its trend over time or the exact records behind the score.

What you can see here

  • Every rule's result — how many records passed and failed, and its score.
  • The same picture rolled up by critical data element and by quality dimension.
  • Whether a score is improving or slipping over time.
  • The actual records behind a rule's score.
  • The issue number raised for a failing check, so you can follow it up.

WHERE TO FIND IT — Open Quality → Scorecard.

2. Finding Your Way Around

Across the top of the Scorecard you'll find three view tabs, a search box, and a date selector:

  • Rule View — results for each individual rule.
  • CDE View — results rolled up by critical data element.
  • Dimension View — results rolled up by quality dimension, with a pie chart.
  • Search box — type to filter the list to what you're looking for (available on Rule View and CDE View).
  • As Of Date — choose which reporting snapshot you're looking at (see below).

Each view is covered in its own section.

3. Choosing an "As Of Date"

The As Of Date selector (top-right) sets the reporting date you're viewing. These are the dates on which your data quality was measured, most recent first. Choosing a different date refreshes the scores across all three views to that point in time.

A SNAPSHOT IN TIME — The Scorecard shows the results of a measurement taken on the date you pick — it doesn't recalculate live. To see how a score has changed across dates, use Preview (see Looking Closer).

4. Rule View

Rule View lists the result of each individual quality rule — the most detailed level. Use the search box to narrow the list to a rule, dataset, or dimension.

ColumnWhat it shows
DatasetNameThe dataset (table) the rule ran against.
DimensionThe quality dimension the rule belongs to.
DescriptionWhat the rule checks.
PassedHow many records met the rule.
FailedHow many records did not.
ScoreThe rule's overall score.
Issue #The issue number raised for this rule, when there is one, so you can track the follow-up.

Each row has two actions: Preview and Details. Both are explained in Looking Closer.

START WITH THE FAILURES — Sort or search to bring the lowest scores and highest failure counts to the top. Those are the checks doing the most to pull your quality down.

5. CDE View

CDE View rolls the same results up by Critical Data Element — the pieces of data that matter most to your business. Instead of one row per rule, you get one row per element, so you can see which important elements are clean and which aren't. The search box works here too.

ColumnWhat it shows
DatasetNameThe dataset (table) the element belongs to.
Critical Data ElementThe name of the element being scored.
DimensionThe quality dimension.
PassedHow many records met the checks for this element.
FailedHow many did not.
ScoreThe element's overall score.
Issue #The issue number raised for this element, when there is one.

Each row has a Preview action to see the element's score trend over time — see Looking Closer.

6. Dimension View

Dimension View gives you the big picture, rolled up by quality dimension — Completeness, Validity, Accuracy, and so on. It's the shortest list and the fastest way to see the overall shape of your data quality.

ColumnWhat it shows
DimensionThe quality dimension.
ValueThe score for that dimension.

Alongside the table, a pie chart shows the same split visually, so you can see at a glance how your quality divides across the dimensions. Each row also has a Preview action for the dimension's trend over time.

NO SEARCH HERE — Because this view is a short, rolled-up summary, it doesn't have a search box — you can read the whole list at once.

Every view lets you drill into a row without leaving the Scorecard. There are two ways to look closer, shown as icons in the Action column.

Preview — the score's trend over time. Selecting Preview on any row opens a line chart showing how that rule, element, or dimension has scored across the reporting dates. This is the quickest way to tell whether something is improving, holding steady, or slipping — a single low score might be a blip, but a downward line is worth acting on. Close the chart to return to the list.

Details — the records behind the score (Rule View). In Rule View, selecting Details opens a table of the underlying records for that rule on the selected date. This is where you go from "the score is low" to "here are the exact rows involved," so you can see what's actually failing the check. The detail table is paged, so you can move through large result sets. Close it to return to the list.

FROM SUMMARY TO SPECIFICS — Use Preview to decide whether a score needs attention, and Details to see the records so you can do something about it. The Issue # column ties a failing check to its follow-up in Issue Management.
