User Guide — Defining Pipeline Stages, Their Order, and Their Layers
| Last updated: September 2026
1. Overview
A pipeline in OnCoor is made of stages — the steps data moves through. The Stage screen is where those stages are defined, put in order, and broken into layers. It has three tabs: Stage, Stage Successor, and Layer.
WHERE TO FIND IT — Stage is under Process → Config. Use the three tabs to move between the stage list, the ordering, and the layers.
2. Stage — The List of Stages
The Stage tab lists the stages that exist.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The stage's name. |
| Updated By / Updated Date | Who last changed it, and when. |
Add a stage with the + button, and remove one with the delete icon on its row. This is the starting point — define your stages here before ordering them or adding layers.
3. Stage Successor — The Order of Stages
The Stage Successor tab sets which stage follows which, so the pipeline runs its steps in the right sequence.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Stage | A stage. |
| Stage Successors | The stage(s) that come after it. |
Add a pairing with the + button and remove one with the delete icon.
4. Layer — Layers Within Stages
The Layer tab breaks a stage into ordered layers (the sub-levels data passes through within a stage).
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Stage | The stage the layer belongs to. |
| Layer Num | The layer's position in order. |
| Layer Name | The layer's name. |
Add a layer with the + button and remove one with the delete icon.
BUILD IT IN ORDER — Set up your Stages first, then use Stage Successor to say what follows what, and Layer to split each stage into its layers. Doing it in that order keeps the pipeline's shape consistent.
